The Bigger the Hoop

The Bigger the Hoop is a minute long short film exploring the female experience with societal judgements. The purpose of this film is to bring light to the issues facing women through the words that are often used to put women back to the place we once held in society.

The film was created through animating digitally in 2D. This was then printed, embroidered by hand and shot on Dragonframe under a rostrum.

The Bigger the Hoop is currently on the festival circuit and has been featured at a number of festivals (full list below) including Canterbury University Film Festival 2020 as a finalist.
