About Me

Hey there, I'm an animator, illustrator, and filmmaker from England. I find inspiration in everyday things; from the little quirks and oddities that are hidden in plain sight to the inner thoughts and emotions that people don't always show on the surface.

When it comes to my films, I tend to focus on real-life stories and experiences. There's something about the way people navigate the world that I find fascinating, and I love exploring that through my work. I mean, don't get me wrong, I appreciate a good fictional story as much as the next person, but there's just something so raw and powerful about real-life storytelling.

I got my start in animation using experimental techniques, and that's definitely influenced my approach to filmmaking. Lately, I've been exploring hybrid documentary and smartphone filmmaking, which has been a really exciting new avenue for me.  My most recent projects have developed a unique and creative form of commentary: meaning I have been able to make films surrounding tough subject matter that feel genuine and relatable.

Education and experience

I graduated with a first-class degree in BA Animation from UCA Farnham in 2020. During my time at UCA, I was involved in many group projects, including an animated advertisement for the charity ‘The Cats Campaign’.

After my time at UCA, I moved on to creating live action films. I went on to study at Royal Holloway and graduated with a distinction in MA Digital Documentary at Royal Holloway University London in 2021. During my time on the course, I have been a part of Smart (the London International Short Film Festival) as an assistant events producer and intern, along with creating films for my studies.

My films have had success on the festival circuit, being shown from Lisbon to New York.

I have been working in video production since the start of 2022, collaborating to create a wide range of videos and podcasts for brands.

I am still working as a freelance animator/illustrator and on my own documentaries, so if you would like to get in contact to collaborate creatively, I’d love to have a chat.
